Dr. Iannis (Yanni) Pappou

Dr. Yanni Pappou brings a world of expertise and knowledge to the ReGenesis team - quite literally! After graduating medicine from Munich’s Ludwig-Maximilians-University and Technical University, he completed a PhD in molecular research for osteosarcoma in mice at GSF/Institute of Pathology, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.

From there, he crossed over to the U.S. where he completed a research fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery, followed by orthopaedic residency at University of Kentucky, with subsequent fellowship training in hand surgery at University of Virginia and shoulder and elbow surgery at Florida Orthopaedic Institute.

After overcoming obesity he became interested in an active, physically fit lifestyle and longevity as an athlete to promote high function and well-being well past the “20’s peak”. He completed a fellowship in bioidentical hormone treatment and has a special interest in research that promotes longevity and slows down aging. He brings a unique combination: understanding of hormone biology, aging processes, muscle bone function, experience of an orthopedic surgeon and living an athletic lifestyle. His goal is to educate and help other men achieve optimal function.

A lifelong lover of learning and languages, Dr. Pappou is fluent in English, Greek, German, French, and Spanish (and he knows some basic Italian, too!)

Dr. Pappou is a fully accredited member of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons (ABOS). He is also a member of the American Society for Shoulder and Elbow Surgery (ASES), and the Florida Orthopaedic Society.
